Narrow Road is part of an EM gauge model railway built in under a year in 2004. It has appeared at many exhibitions including London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexander Palace in 2005 and has now established itself as part of a much larger layout.
Narrow Road is based on a busy North London railway terminus, Broad Street, and boasts some 60 train movements an hour at its peak. The model and its rolling stock are entirely scratch build with 100’s of hours of fine details added throughout.
Narrow Road has grown over the years to occupy a healthy footprint of some 40' x 14' with many scale miles of track and encompasses several other layouts. These include Leigh-on-Sea with authentic cockle sheds and boats, and Valleyfields which is a fictional North Yorkshire Moors destination. There is also a mainline station with views of a canal and lock.
I hope you enjoy viewing my train layout which has been added to for many years and is still developing into an extensive and detailed EM gauge model railway.
